Our staff and board members are often asked how people can help and get more involved with AMIkids. There are four great ways that people can make a positive impact on our kids, along with some inspiring stories about some people that are already making an incredible difference.

AMIkids has received additional support to grow its vocational education efforts. The organization received an additional grant from the U.S. Department of Labor, as well as funds from the Florida Legislature, to support and expand vocational education at local programs.
Many of our programs offer our students the opportunity to take courses and gain certifications in Information Technology, including A+ certification through CompTIA, a non-profit trade association. It’s one thing to hear about the impact that these programs have on our kids, but as Eric Larson soon learned, it’s pretty powerful to witness it first-hand.
