"I've never won anything before, and this is 1st place!" This was the reaction of an AMIkids Emerald Coast student who is battling autism as he was in awe while admiring his 1st place award. Legislators from several states learned about AMIkids and recently visited AMIkids Beaufort as part of the National Conference of State Legislatures. The group visited the program as part of their Juvenile Justice Model Site Visit hosted by Senator Michael Fair.
