AMIkids Promotes Mike Thornton to Vice President of Support Services

TAMPA, FL – AMIkids, Inc. is pleased to announce that Mike Thornton has been promoted to Vice President of Support Services at the AMIkids national headquarters in Tampa, FL. Mr. Thornton has been with the organization for 24 years, served as an Executive Director at multiple programs in 3 states, a Regional Director, and the Director of Human Resources before accepting the Vice President of Support Services position.

Mr. Thornton graduated with a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Georgia Southern University and has a Bachelor of Science in Business from Tennessee Technological University. He is also a member of Leadership Florida Class 33.

Mr. Thornton took over the position on October 3, 2014, replacing Judy Estren, Esq., who resigned after nearly ten years to open her own compliance and contract consulting business.
