The first construction project at AMIkids Miami-Dade North is complete!! Supported by the Fisher Island Philanthropic Fund and Spearheaded by our Construction Instructor Mr. Dave, several students in the Construction class worked on the ramp demolition and rebuilding project at the North Campus.
AMIkids Panama City Marine Institute helps out with Meals on Wheels food delivery. Nothing feels better than helping others and when our kids get to “give back” to the people in their community they feel like a million bucks.
Escambia Boys Base, operated by AMIkids Pensacola, was visited by Corry Station Drug Education for Youth (DEFY) program. About 15 youth (ages 9-12), 6 junior mentors (aged 13-16) and 8 adult staff (active duty military mentors) met with our students and staff.
A great big thank you to BB&T and their employees for coming out and volunteering to re-do our lobby! Shorehouse Furniture and Rug Island donated furniture to add to the effort to create a new welcoming lobby for our visitors.
AMIkids Piedmont students recently assisted the residents at Agape Healthcare by placing their monthly calendar on their walls. They were tasked with removing July’s calendar and replacing it with August’s calendar.
