The AMIkids Boat Program announces plans for The Floating Classroom, an innovative tool that will continue to inspire youth in our programs to become more involved in the outdoors and become better stewards of the environment around them.

Hundreds of kids, staff members and volunteers met in Central Florida for the 2016 Winter Challenge Event. The three-day festivities included academic and athletic competitions including science fair, spelling bee, track & field and volleyball events.
The AMIkids website was awarded the Gold ADDY, a coveted recognition by The American Advertising Awards as part of the American Advertising Federation. This award ensures that thousands of additional members and supporters of AAF will now be exposed to the AMIkids website and, most importantly, our mission.
Escambia Boys Base, operated by AMIkids Pensacola, was honored to receive the President’s Gold Volunteer Service Award, an award given by U.S. President Barack Obama in recognition of helping address pressing needs in our communities and country. This is the second time that the program has received the Service Award, but the first time that the program was recognized at the Gold Level.
