Center for Academic Discipline

Centers for Academic Discipline (CADs) provide students an alternative to suspension, expulsion and/or juvenile justice institutionalization. The model serves youth who are either failing high school due to excessive or extreme anti-social behaviors or those who previously dropped out but are now ready to focus on graduating. Three stand-alone program models (School Safety, School Performance, and Graduation Intervention) operate as a comprehensive set of services under one school program. Each set of services are separated and defined by designated classroom and learning spaces.
