AMIkids Gainesville received a grant to fund our Experiential Education initiative. We have developed a partnership with UF IFAS and Water and Air Inc. to build and operate an outdoor Aquaponics nursery that will grow fish and plants in a symbiotic relationship.
AMIkids Gainesville was named the 2014 Best Non-Profit of the Year at the Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce's Business of the Year awards on Thursday. The award was given to the non-profit organization that strongly supports and benefits the community and its citizens.
In August 2014 Senator Rob Bradley, Rep. Keith Perry, Rep. Dennis Bradley attended our commencement ceremony for 10 youth who successfully completed the program and returned to their zone schools.
