AMIkids Piedmont Assists in Laying the Foundation for a New House

May 05, 2015
AMIkids Piedmont students joined a volunteer group to participate in a building project for Habitat for Humanity. They’re building a house on Academy St. in Clinton, SC. Our students were there from 8:30am until 12:00pm. They assisted with laying the foundation and were supplied with hammers and nails. They learned quickly and stayed on task.  They adhered to directions provided by the director, Joel Evans. All of the students stated that they enjoyed being apart of such a great occasion. Mr. Evans was proud of their accomplishments and invited them back for the next phase of the project.
