The donation of this 72’ 2002 Southern Ocean Trawler was facilitated by Leonce Richard from Worth Avenue Yachts.
After undergoing material improvements that included sand blasting, repairing and repainting the bottom, a bow thruster rebuild an engine overhaul and other maintenance, Nikita is now under contract and headed to California.
The AMIkids Standard Lease with Option to Purchase is structured to protect the Yacht Donor and the Charity. The lease agreement is based on FASB-13 guidelines and complies with established standards of financial accounting and reporting for true operating leases. Lease term is three years.
We accept yacht donations, refit and then lease or sell them. Proceeds help troubled kids start a great future.
Donors benefit of reduced holding costs and obtain a reasonable tax deduction from a safe, reputable charity. The process is extremely convenient for everyone and provides brokers with competitively priced inventory and refreshed listings with interest-free lease opportunities.
All proceeds support the AMIkids mission to help youth develop into responsible and productive citizens. In doing so we help protect public safety and positively impact youth and their families by helping them separate a troubled past from a bright future.
