Our Challenge Events represent a distinctive facet of our commitment to empowering young individuals. These events offer our team members a chance to connect with our students outdoors, in settings that challenge and inspire.

The Summer Challenge, Winter Challenge, Presidential Dive Challenge, and White Water Rafting & Rappelling Challenge are not just annual traditions; they are catalysts for personal growth and lasting impact. For our students, these events transcend the familiar, opening doors to new experiences that can be truly life changing. These journeys foster character development, nurture leadership skills, and forge bonds that last a lifetime.

We offer a wide range of benefits to suit your needs

At AMIkids, we strive to ensure competitive compensation, benefits, and health and wellness programs for all team members. We understand that to do life-changing work, you need to be recognized and rewarded.


Eligible team members are those averaging 30 hours per week or more. Spouses and dependent children of eligible team members are also eligible in the benefit options when the team member is enrolled. Eligible dependents include: legal spouse and dependent children who are under age 26.

All benefit coverages go in effect for both team members and their dependents (if coverage was elected) the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment.

Core Coverage

Core benefits are available to ALL benefit-eligible team members at NO COST TO YOU! Core coverage includes:

  • Employer Pension Plan- 5% annual contribution after two years of service and a 15% contribution after 10 years. 100% vested in the plan after two years of service.
  • Paid Time Off (PTO) – eligible Employees will receive at a minimum 4 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) per year, with the accrual increasing based on years of service, in alignment with state guidelines, up to a maximum of 35 days per year.
  • Paid Holidays- AMIkids offers nine paid holidays per year.
  • Health Saving Account – if enrolled in our qualified high deductible health plan (HDHP), AMIkids will give you a $500 pro-rated contribution each year!
  • Basic Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance – AMIkids provides all benefit eligible team members with a $10,000 life and AD&D benefit.
  • Short-term Disability Insurance – 60% of your base weekly earnings to a max of $1,500 per week paid by AMIkids after two years of continuous service.
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) – three face-to-face sessions, assistance with financial issues, work life balance, etc.
  • Worldwide Travel Assistance – available resources for any trip more than 100 miles from home.
  • Enterprise Car Sales – helps take the stress out of buying a used car.
  • Student Loan Forgiveness Program- AMIkids, Inc is a qualifying organization for the SLF Program.
  • Tuition Reimbursement- available at Program level when funds are available.
  • Continued Education- personalized growth and development training.
Elective Benefits

Elective benefits are additional benefit options for which you may be required to pay part or all of the cost for the options you select. The elective coverages include:
