Our Story

EMPOWERING YOUNG PEOPLE TO DISCOVER THEIR TRUE POTENTIAL

AMIkids Behavioral Health has been providing mental health and substance abuse treatment services at multiple locations since 2018 and is currently providing services for many programs in Florida, New Mexico, and South Carolina. AMIkids Behavioral Health provides evidence-based therapy services to youth aged 11 to 19 years old who are experiencing mental health and/or substance abuse needs or crisis. Services provided include screening, comprehensive assessments with behavioral health diagnosis, case coordination, and counseling services including individual, family, and group therapy. Evidence-based interventions may include Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Cannabis Youth Treatment, Aggression Replacement Training, and Motivational Interviewing, prescribed based on individualized needs.

AMIkids Behavioral Health is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) four outpatient and residential treatment services. Most Florida locations provide outpatient substance abuse treatment services and are licensed through the Florida Department of Children and Families, in accordance with Chapter 397, FL Statutes.
