Angee Hastings, a nearly 30-year veteran of AMIkids, serves as the newly created Chief People & Culture Officer. In her role, she will not only operate as the Human Resources Department supervisor, but she will also develop and cultivate a healthy and cohesive organizational culture aligned with AMIkids’ core values and strategic direction. This role will drive the AMIkids’ corporate commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion and help shape the organization’s culture fostering an environment where team members are engaged.
Over her career with AMIkids, Hastings has operated at numerous staff and leadership roles at programs in South Carolina, Texas, and Florida. She has also held leadership roles within the national office, including Regional Director, Director of Training and Professional Development, and most recently, Director of HR & Professional Development.
Hastings has a BA in Education from the University of Florida and a Masters in Education Leadership from Georgia Southern. She is a Certified Human Resources Specialist (MSU) and SHRM-Certified Professional, and has a Human Resources Management Certificate and Advanced Human Resources Certificate from The University of South Florida. She is an accomplished presenter, member of numerous organizations dealing with employment compliance and development, and an accomplished international competitor in elite Karate showcases.
