Our Story

EMPOWERING YOUNG PEOPLE TO DISCOVER THEIR TRUE POTENTIAL

AMIkids Miami Dade North is committed to transforming the lives of young people by equipping them with the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to build bright futures.

Through our Workforce Development program, we empower youth ages 16-24 with hands-on training, technical education, and job readiness courses tailored to their unique interests. By unlocking their potential, we help them discover new opportunities, achieve personal success, and become valuable contributors to their communities.

Services

What We Offer

WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

Our Workforce Development program prepare students aged 16-24 for successful careers, offering industry training that is aligned with each community’s needs for skilled workers. With a combination of academic, technical, and job readiness courses and individualized case management, AMIkids prepares and places students into higher education, jobs, and apprenticeships.

PROGRAM ENHANCEMENTS

Program Enhancement Services may be provided as standalone or supplementary to a program:

  • Job Readiness Training
  • Behavioral Skills Development
  • Industry Recognized Certifications (OSHA-10, NCCER)
  • Job Placement Assistance
  • Mentoring Opportunities
  • Supportive Services
  • Transition & follow up Services
  • Mental Health Services (referrals to AMIkids Behavioral Health)
